Privacy Policy — ShopSwitch
Summary
ShopSwitch is a browser extension that helps you save and switch between Shopify client admin stores. It is designed to be local-first.
Data stored on your device
Depending on features you use, ShopSwitch may store:
- Saved store URLs, nicknames, and labels you enter in the popup.
- Extension settings from the popup UI
This data is stored with the browser extension storage APIs (storage.local) on your device.
Data we do not collect (current version)
Unless we add an optional sync or account feature and update this policy, ShopSwitch does not:
- Require an account
- Sell personal data
- Use your content for advertising
- Send page contents to our servers
Permissions
ShopSwitch requests host and browser permissions only to provide its stated features (for example opening saved stores and showing a color bar on Shopify admin). See the Chrome Web Store listing for per-permission explanations.
Third-party services
The current local version does not integrate analytics or cloud sync.
If we add paid Pro or licensing later, we will update this policy to name any processor and what billing or license data they handle.
Your choices
- Uninstall the extension to stop use
- Use in-extension clear or reset controls where available
- Contact us with privacy questions (see above)
Changes
We will update this page when practices change and bump the “Last updated” date.
